In 2012 we went on a trip to Colombia. During our trip we spend some days on a coffee farm in the so-called „Zona Cafetera“. Colombia produces some of the finest coffee beans in the world. As we got to know from the coffee farmers, most of the high-quality beans are roasted and consumed outside of the country, predominantly in Europe, the U.S., Canada and Australia.

Coffee in Colombia is usually consumed black and sweetened with Panela, which is extracted from sugar cane syrup. Enjoy the pictures!
